The Los Angeles Conservancy is thrilled to present Last Remains, the first-ever Halloween edition of its beloved Last Remaining Seats classic film series. On Saturday, October 25, audiences will gather at the historic Million Dollar Theater in Downtown Los Angeles for an unforgettable day of chills, laughter, and iconic cinema.
This year’s program features two legendary films:
Young Frankenstein (1974) – 2:00 p.m. | “It’s pronounced Fronkensteen!” Mel Brooks’ hilarious classic brings monster movie mayhem to life.
Carrie (1976) – 8:00 p.m. | When a cruel prank at prom pushes isolated high school girl beyond her breaking point, Carrie unleashes a terrifying telekinetic fury etched into horror history.
More than just movies, Last Remains celebrates the magic of experiencing film on the big screen while spotlighting one of L.A.’s most atmospheric historic theaters.
