Los Angeles-based bassist, Anna Butterss grew up in Adelaide, Australia, and moved to the U.S. in 2012 to pursue a Master of Music at Indiana University.  In 2014 Anna was a fellow in the Stearns Institute's Program for Jazz at the Ravinia Festival (Chicago) where she studied with Rufus Reid, and in 2015 she was a finalist in the National Jazz Awards of Australia.She has performed with Tim Young, Jeff Parker, Jay Bellarose, Joe LaBarbara, Bob Mintzer and Dick Oatts.
