A native of Miami, Florida, Alekos "Kosie" Syropoulos has become internationally recognized for his contributions as a jazz saxophonist, keyboardist, composer, producer, and studio musician.
Over the course of his musical career, Alekos has performed and/or recorded with Anderson .Paak, The Midnight, DUX, Stan Taylor, Vulfpeck, Cory Wong, DJ Williams, Tiffany Gouche, JMSN, Sensae, Desi Valentine, Mac Miller, Hollawell, WILDCAT WILDCAT, Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra, Raquel Rodriguez, Sammy Miller & The Congregation, Ruslan Sirota, Madelyn Grant, and The Macpodz.
In 2019, he began releasing new music under the producer moniker "Kosie." As a solo artist, Kosie recently released his debut album entitled “Beauty Sleep.” His aesthetic is fond of atmospheric synth tones, woodwinds, and vibrant rhythms, with an eclectic stylistic reach touching on jazz, hip-hop, funk, and electronic music.
