Hailing from Portland, Oregon, JJ Kirkpatrick is a triple threat as a trumpeter, composer and producer. Now based in Los Angeles, JJ has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Kendrick Lamar, Walter Smith, Josh Groban, Craig Robinson, Louis CK and many others. In 2015, he was featured in the Oscar winning film Whiplash. You can also catch him on screen playing for the 11th season of America’s Got Talent on NBC.
JJ has performed extensively throughout the World at many prestigious venues such as Jazz @ Lincoln Center (NYC), Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola (NYC), The Fonda Theater (L.A.), John Anson Ford Amphitheatre (L.A.), Le New Morning (Paris) The Greek Theatre (L.A.),(NYC), The Dolby Theatre (L.A.) and The Monterey Jazz Festival (Monterey, CA).
