Blending the aesthetics of jazz, soul, experimental, and folk music, Teira Lockhart Church performs original songs and reinterpretations of jazz standards. A Los Angeles native, Teira received her B.A. in Ethnomusicology at UCLA in the summer of 2016 under the direction of Kenny Burrell within the esteemed Herb Alpert School of Music.  She has performed in some of LA's most renowned venues including Catalina Jazz Club, Blue Whale, The Lyric Theater, and LACMA. We are thrilled to welcome Teira back to Grand Central Market!
