Esotouric Tours Presents: The Real Black Dahlia Bus Tour
11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Tour meets at Hill Street Patio at Grand Central Market
Parking: Grand Central Market Garage at 308 S Hill Street
Join Esotouric’s Kim Cooper and Richard Schave; the Skid Row historians featured in “Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel,” for a wicked walk-through of some of LA's most famous true crime stories!
The Black Dahlia murder in 1947 is the most compelling unsolved crime Los Angeles has ever known. What Jack the Ripper is to London, the Torso Killer to Cleveland, the Black Dahlia is to L.A. And yet, unlike those other cases, the name Black Dahlia refers not to the killer, but to the victim. What was it about Elizabeth Short that kept her the object of obsessive fascination by writers, musicians, artists, filmmakers, cops, and readers, more than sixty years after she was slain?
The tour begins at 11:00 am sharp, with check-in time at 10:30 am at the Horse Thief BBQ patio outside Grand Central Market at 324 S Hill St, Los Angeles, CA 90013. Please arrive on time and proceed to the check-in table to get signed in and logged in to the smartphone slideshow.
