This is a rare opportunity to see Hitchcock's rarely screened earliest masterpiece with a live orchestral score in a movie palace, JUST as it would have been experienced in 1927.

It's all here, even before the advent of sound. Hitchcock employs all manner of avant-garde visionary camera techniques here (including a great cinematic solution to conveying sound in the silent era) to create, develop, and sublimate tension and suspense.

The Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble (#JCDEnsemble), sparks new life in classic silent films with their vivid original scores. Founded by composer and conductor Jack Curtis Dubowsky, the Ensemble specializes in live scores and combines intricately composed material and structured improvisation.
