Young Kings: Hollywood Africans and the 80's Art Scene

Join us for a rare conversation with Jean-Michel Basquiat's friends, hosted by his sisters, Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, co-administrators of the Basquiat Estate. Artist and painter Lee Quiñones who pioneered the subway painting movement, and American contemporary artist Toxic will discuss their friendship with Jean-Michel, graffiti art, and share stories from the NYC and LA art scene in the 1980s.

Tickets include an exhibit viewing. The panel will be followed by an after-party with a special DJ set by Toxic and cocktails for those +21 by Olga Vodka and Madre Mezcal. Space is limited.
